I hailed from a small village in Newfoundland, Canada  (population 500 when everyone was home on vacation) in 1960 and  landed in Toronto at age 19.

Life in Toronto was very different then, no guns, no drugs, very little  crime.  Cops arrested you for little reason, like kicking over  garbage  cans.  I guess they didn’t have enough to do to keep them busy.

Gay life was completely underground. Men were arrested for being seen on the street in drag, except on October 31, Halloween Night. Oh what a gala event that was. Who would have dreamed, some 40 years later, we’d have same sex marriage?

No Computers then, no Cell Phones, how did we ever exist?  Yikes!!  I bought my first Computer in 1999, age 58. Since then I have spent many frustrating  hours trying to figure this thing out. Still not sure but now I’ve become addicted and can’t quit. Building this website has been, most of the time a real pleasure. With input from friends like you, I will continue to make it better.

I now reside in a small Town in, what's known as "The Golden Horseshoe", on the Niagara Peninsula, 80 Kms. southwest of Toronto and 35 Kms. from the beautiful Niagara Falls. We are surrounded by fruit orchards and Grape vineyards, where in my opinion, some of the finest wines in the world are produced. Off course I'm a beer connoisseur and less than expert on wine but,  be your own judge. It's beautiful and peaceful here, where in summer the rain only falls at night and in winter, all the snow falls in nearby Lake Ontario. (A slight exaggeration here).

Enjoy your time here and visit us often.
